This book is non-stop entertainment from start to finish. Brilliant humor, sometimes self-deprecating, sometimes cutting and sarcastic, had me laughing out loud in many places.
It is rooted in reality, no "riding off into the sunset" fantasy of the regular romance novel. All the characters are portrayed realistically, even the small "bit-role" appearances are not 2-dimensional. It's as much about female bonding, friendships, mother-daughter relationship, as about romantic relationships. You might think all that sounds heavy and soppy, but not so - laced generously with an original style of humor makes this book light hearted even though it talks about matters of the heart.
Overall a compelling read, I could not put it down without finishing it!
